Terms of use
These terms govern your use of this website. They are short because the site is informational. They are still terms, and by using the site you accept them.
What this site is
This site describes Atom Works, Inc., its products and its work. It is not an offer to sell, or a solicitation of an offer to buy, any security, product or service. Any commercial relationship with Atom Works is governed by a separate written agreement, and nothing here forms part of one.
Accuracy and the "what is built" section
We try to be precise about what is implemented, what is filed, and what is not yet demonstrated, and we say which is which on the site. Even so, the site is a general description at a point in time. It may contain errors, it will become out of date, and it is not a specification. Do not rely on it for any decision without confirming the current position with us in writing.
Statements about plans, timing, or expected capability are forward-looking and may not come to pass.
Not advice
Nothing on this site is legal, financial, investment, tax, or security advice, and nothing here creates a professional relationship. The site discusses regulation, standards, and evidence in general terms. Consult a qualified adviser about your own situation.
Intellectual property
The content of this site, including text, design, diagrams, code, and the interactive demonstration, is owned by Atom Works, Inc. or used with permission and is protected by copyright and other laws. You may view the site and quote from it for commentary, review, or research with attribution. You may not reproduce the site or substantial parts of it, or use its content to train a model or build a competing description, without written permission.
Amem™, TokenMark™, HoldMark Forge™, SynthWorker™, VoxMark™, ForgeMark™, Quantum Orbit™, MPSWA™ and the -Mark™ family are trademarks of Atom Works, Inc. See Trademarks and patents. Nothing on this site grants any license under any trademark or patent.
The demonstration
The two-seal demonstration on the home page runs in your browser and is provided for illustration. It is not a product, a service, or a reference implementation, and it carries no warranty of any kind.
Acceptable use
Do not use the site or its contact form to send unlawful, abusive, or deceptive material, to probe or attack the site or its hosting, or to impersonate anyone. If you believe you have found a security issue in the site, we would rather hear about it than have it exploited: write to john.ossenmacher@amem.law and we will respond.
Third-party sites
Links to other sites, including tokenmark.io and standards bodies, are provided for convenience. We are not responsible for their content or their terms.
No warranty; limitation of liability
The site is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. To the fullest extent permitted by law, Atom Works, Inc. and its officers, directors, employees and agents will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, consequential, special or punitive damages, or for any loss of profits, data or goodwill, arising from your use of or inability to use the site, even if advised of the possibility. Where liability cannot be excluded, it is limited to one hundred US dollars.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of California, without regard to its conflict-of-laws rules. Any dispute arising from these terms or your use of the site will be brought exclusively in the state or federal courts located in Orange County, California, and you consent to their jurisdiction.
Changes
We may update these terms by posting a new version here with a new effective date. Continued use of the site after a change means you accept the change.
